This 10” round canvas was adorned to represent Gacrux, the red giant star, located in the southern constellation called Crux or The Southern Cross. This bright beauty is located at the head of the cross and is the only red one in the mist of white-blue stars. It is the 3rd brightest within the constellation and is found to be the closest red giant to earth. 🔴
